I'll post a few Tracerts here..
I opened this topic when I started getting 30-40% PL out of nowhere.

Ok, just FYI though. Two of the times outs on the hops are actually on your side. One is serverside but it seems to be your internet line....

I'm thinking of moving hosts anyway unless things improve so these guys have maybe another 2 months at most, the way things are.

Yeah, I've done several tracerts and every time the 2nd and 3rd pings have a timeout. Never figured out why.
I did give the router a reboot. And the connection was fine afterwards. But it's shuts strange how it comes out of the blue. I'll do a few more if it happens again.

You need to contact be and give them this tracert. You should also do a jitter and speedtest. Try this too, http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping it monitors and checks the quality of your line.

With all of these, you can prove to your provider your line is crappy - if it is and either force them into action or just leave...for virgin media

Can you try a pathping?
