Release notes:

Added:

Radiation sign shaped Nuke Siren model.
Pushing players to their deaths awards/penalizes the pusher.
Teleporters can't be built inside Super Containers in SiegeGI2 gametype.
Denied! sound plays when a nuke is taken down.
Players are unable to remove until 45 seconds have passed since they joined.
Translocator speed is INI tweakable (SiegeGI,SiegeGI2,FreeSiegeGI)



Fixed:

Constructor related bugs.
Old upgrade mode on buildings.
Constructor applies the SiegeStats bind again.
Forcefields don't sound weird when on fire.
Spectators no longer exist on other clients, should reduce network load on games with many spectators.



Armor stacking rules:
A player may only carry a primary armor, either the Supplier one, or Shield Belt.
Since the Shield Belt is considered a primary armor, the Suppliers will refill it instead of the normal armor.
Using a Shield Belt twice with the same suit is guaranteed to remove the suit.
Suits won't display armor count.

nice update Higor, bugs fixed, the old constructor back for up stuff and the Denied! was a good idea hiuashe, it too happens when somebody is killed when was carrying a nuke, or die in a mine

...You can make a Top Fail Nuking Player on F3 for the next edition, would be funny

What about the Nuke take down message? No log entry or Credit given to the one who takes it down? Maybe
"Denied by .seVered.][" message instead of just Denied!

Thanks Chronox. It's nice you took time to give that feedback. All poor Higor has heard is whining and moaning and no one says a word when things are ok or fixed. Learn to appreciate, people! I guess no complaints is better than complaints.

"Spectators no longer exist on other clients" I don't understand that. Can you explain what it means?

Also, talking about spectators, can we have teamsay back for specs so they can talk to each other so players can't see it, as is normal?

The teamsay issue is a mod thing, it's fine on my box. (NexGen maybe?)

Players currently have bAlwaysRelevant set to True due to various issues inherited from other coders, i have to rewrite big parts of hud and scoreboard before setting it back to False.
In the meantime, Spectator players have bAlwaysRelevant set to False as of RC15a.

The other crashes:
Those are engine line checks during actor movement, and are impossible to solve.
My test games running 50 FerBotZ suffer from the same crash, since it's 50 pawns, it happens quite often (1 hour or so).

SM now takes 200 RU when someone die on it...
now if someone make a tele on face top, and if the team go fast to tele for kill the SM, the player that made it will gain a amazing RU count... 3000+ LOL

and the normal mine is giving 80 now i think... it's bad for pub, maybe that is the reason last days many games was a fucking mine spam, i'm not saying about 15 mines per team... 40+ !!

I clearly didn't notice how much RU u get when u get killed by a mine!
Just saying that it sux.. it makes people waste RU in mines all around.

The mines' mechanics haven't been altered. As a matter of fact, since I fixed the double explosion issue, the mines on teleporter deliver less RU now.
So I don't understand why you complain, the reason there's lots of mine spam?
Put yourself in an noob's shoes, you don't either want to nuke or waste your RU on leech, the easy and effective solution is mines.

200 RU when kill with SM? it always was 50! anyone can confirm.

i made a SM on face top today and i played with infinity RU ater this

same for normal mine, it was 50 RU per mine kill, now is 80, just test on siege 12 or less

mine lv 3 always kill now, even a player with belt or suit, the only possibility to survive is if you get that 400+ mega health

Higor, about mines, i tested today again, how bigger the lv of SM, more RU it gives, a SM lv3 gives 100 RU, lv5 200 RU...

3 players that fall on a SM lv 5 is 600 RU!!!!! OMFG

Not really, anyone with half a brain will kill a SuperMine no matter where it is.
It takes 1200 to build and upgrade a Super Mine to level 5, which in my opinion is a huge loss if destroyed.

SM is a item that you use +/- 900 RU (SM lv5 is only usefull for make on tele at enemy base), but when you make it, nodoby can stepping in this place, and infinity times, the only way is kill the sm, but all SMs are made near SPs, nodoby retarded make SM on unprotected place.

If someone kill your SM, this player what did a good job, it's not Siege balance guilt, same for 1300 nukes, SBs (2000 RU), why the SM need add a so great bonus ru for who made it?

The optimized explosion code has a bug, oh great...
The explosion tables only applied to full power explosions (only seen against monsters on sgX...), the bug made the mines award RU as if they had full effect on a player.

In other words, the level 5 SuperMine is detonating with a damage above 1000 and applying a reward based on that, even if it's a player...

Why did the old code even give more RU if the killed enemy has more health anyways?
Shouldn't the RU reward be the same for each kill?

for me is not bad a different reward by the enemy health, maybe would good make this way:
reward = enemy health (1 to 400) * 0.33 + reward of level of mine

Mine extra reward:
lv1 = 6
lv2 = 13
lv3 = 22
lv4 = 33
lv5 = 46

if a player with 150 health die on a sm lv5, the maker gain 150*0.33 = 50 + 46 = 96 RU
if a player with 50 health die on a sm lv5, the maker gain 50*0.33 = 15 + 46 = 61 RU
if a player with 400 health die on a sm lv5, the maker gain 400*0.33 = 121 + 46 = 167 RU

i don't know, for me this system is cool and fair

(if a sm kill a player with 10 HP the maker should not get a so good reward that would get if kill a player with 150 HP, because a player with 10 HP is just 1 shot, or use pulse for kill, but not for a player with full health)

I know that Adrian sometimes looks like a bitch screaming (sorry Adrian) but i think he is right about the excesive RU.

In some maps like BatroomsEQ1, if you avoid all of that ripper spam, sniper defenders (allways in the middle), is a great job! but now you need to avoid that almost invisible mines everywhere for get the core. in other words, Siege is telling you "Do not attack without Warhead + Trans, at the moment just stay in the middle getting RU" and i think this is not good for the game, we need more ways to attack the Core than nuke + trans, and giving a great bonus for make mines is not helping, some noobs like "«*Florencia*»²º¹²" are using all RU in mines and with the bonus his mines are reproducing like gremlins... this is not good

that is the question...

currently is hard attack the core normaly, but too easy for nuke, using attack itens. SPs, mines, SMs, trans, speed are overpowered. extra RU on mines is an incentive for make more and more mines, is impossible get the core when the enemy base are full of mines, sps let you with 10 hp, everyone start chasing you with pulse and still need stay looking for the floor dodging the mines... mine spam matches the only way is using trans, because you teleport between the mines, sps almost dont get you and are very hard for the enemy shot you.


nodoby think fun a game that the bases are full of mines, maybe only noob that are spamming mines, the games become dull, for both teams

Mines and SM must give 50 RU
Trans must get a nerf
Speed must a time limit

i have sure the games will be more fun with these changes

Mmm ironic, so yea, is about the players! the razon sometimes i don't like play vs noobs is because when he is just making mines he is too dangerous for me and my team, sometimes he dont know how to dodge but he is too dangerous as the best in his team

this only happens if one of teams are very weak, or if the player that got the core had luck, is really too easy defend a base with SP's or just making mines

95% of games one team only win for using nukes or teles, because attack the core normally is hard. you need nerf attack itens because everyone know it's a over powered.

but one thing is obvious, this absurd amount of RU that a Mine/SM maker is receiving dont helps to balance attack itens offence, or normal offence. this is only privileging Miners, for they make more and more mines... it's like add more ru for frags, favors only the fraggers

Mine bonus ru too is very high, it only cost 100 when you make a mine lv3 and a enemy die on it... only 100 ru for prevent a enemy attack or nuke (+600 bonus RU and 1300 + 1400 wasted by enemy)? ... it's only 2 frags kkkk, 2 rocket attacks on enemy SP

SP's hinders much for normal attacks, make it almost impossible, but nerf the SP to lv4 really can facilitate nukes attacks
