Post your unreal tournament audio settings.
Headset/Speakers: sony mdr-zx300(headphones), I don't use speakers, and don't have a headset atm :(.
UT Settings:
Auto Taunt: OFF
Message Beep: ON
Sound Quality: LOW (seem to hear spawns better)
Music Volume: 0/8 OFF
Sound Volume: 2/8
Play voice Messages: NONE
No Mature Taunts: off
Announcer Volume: 0/8 ( i get distracted when running flags, and try to get monsters/holy shits so i turned it off :))
Use Hardware 3d sounds: off
Use surround sound : off

I checked all my settings and I still can't figure out why I can't hear any music on UT. Everything else is good though. Plus, why is it at times when someone upgrades me or I upgrade someone the sound is WAY high!?
3 year old thread and we have a responder! nice find :D
I use sound quality high, seems to work best with my quadro speakers

Open unrealtournament.ini
Ctrl + f
Search for any settings with music in it, e.g bplaymusic, busemusic, and change the setting to true if they are false.
Im not at my computer atm, i will post the setting variable if you cant find it.
