Well, if you are spending your time on making a good 4 way maps, then also go for 4 way Clarion (SWS), Higor was doing it long ago. Dont know what hpnd afterwards.

That map gonna need a lot of build testing. Any kind of bsp errors will make anything possible like a fatal blocking or crater holes. :P

Higor is still working on Clarion 4 way. I think the mid part is where we left off at.

Higor i made the skybox square with no incidence. The area to fly around in is much bigger. Sky looks the same. :D

I moved the ships a bit closer but u still cant snipe ship to ship except from the front of the ship.

I changed the 'container' the blimpships float in. It used to be a circular brush. Circular brushes used in that way cause lag.

I think the map maker thought it would help the skybox look more real with a circular brush, but it has no effect.

I changed it to a square container. A HUGE square container! It takes about 90% of the total playing space ut99 offers. I wanted people to be able to fly high and far, kinda matching the skybox's look.

It looks like an infinite beautiful sky so I made it bigger :cow:

I installed a Poop Deck to the ships but building within the area makes UT go fuckin nuts....

The ships' hulls had way more broken polygons in v2, still, some are left in the balloons and the only way to fix them is to remake that silly rope thing from scratch.

I completely removed the brushes you were talking about AND rebuilt. Same problem Cratering on the balloon tops.....

This map is pissing me off... I think it is map-maker's intent lol

Link every single poly's vertex.
You have two shapes touching each other? Instead design them so they perfectly match.

I can give you a brush file later (or maybe tomorrow) where the ropes don't overlap the balloons but instead link perfectly.

I tried to separate every ballon and they were not touching. I planned to cover them with a new rope.

BUT even with all the balloons not touching (which should work), they still created Cratering on at least one of the ships..... Every time... :cow:
