View Full Version : why is BACKSHOOITNG POINTLESS
I'm just writing this for all those newbies who still do it (think how many guests are always present when your logged in :D)
Backshooting is pointless because you will most likely get killed soon after by the very same person (revenge) or becasue if you want to grab a flag why would you want to have your backshooted enemy in the base on your way again?

I actually run from the enemy without firing and dodging like a maniac for the same reason, you put them right back in front of you which makes grabbing 100x's harder. I normally only backshoot if that player is near a team mate who has the enemy flag.
That gif would have been awesome if she retaliated and sparked him out.
I backshoot everybody who flagkills me crouched like a triangle (loved this one SJA xD) in his base only once as revenge of course :D

Know what'd be awesome?
When you get killed you respawn in a different dimension.
Nobody can see you, you can't see anyone for 2-5 seconds (depending on map size)... THEN the respawn effect is seen.

Sometimes I get stuck in Limbo, I reach the enemy base and stand by flag, spawn points are not far from flag but they all spawn with their backs to me and all I think is "don't turn around, dont do it!" one does, I frag him and then get whined at for back shooting. (My team has flag and enemy team has taken our flag and is heading back to their base, I don't stand there if the flag is there, I run like a redneck towards a mud pool)
I also think there should be a spawn protect time, for me 30mins protection will do as I seem to be a gib magnet.

30 min spawnprotection? 30 min standoff preparation, before people can return the flags. Hmm. I seriously hope you ment 30 sec or 3 sec ! :D
