To be quite frank, I really don't care. As long as there's teamspeak, I'm happy. I'm scared that on Ts3 you'll all sound like melvins.

TS3 is better imo.
TS 3 is better, but I think my comp crashes with it on.
But that could just be because I had both TS opened.
Idk, I kinda feel out of place on TS3, the people sounded so different, I almost felt I didn't know a few of them. lol

Teamspeak 3 is the best! My clan in a another game I play uses it and I've noticed that teams that use teamspeak 3 over other audio's are able to develope larger communitys while at the same time improve their in game performances as a team.
- You can register people based on a unique ID it gives each players compter and they'll never have to enter a password again just reonnect.
-You can have multiple people talking at once and hear them all decently as well as selecting priority speakers who are heard louder over everyone else.
The only big drawback is that setting up the permisions is no walk in the park and you're going to have to learn how to set them up right if you don't people without admin rights going to find ways to kick/ban eachother or find holes in your setup; just a heads up.
I'm sure I would be able to handle setting it up ;)
More of a case whether people want to stick to TS2 or move to TS3. I will need to modify the !TS command mod (more work :( )

I'm not sure if people in game mean anything to you (aside from Areku), but people... most of the people I TS with mean something to me and the voices on TS2 are the voices I've grown to like and care about very much, TS3 sounds really odd to me.
Call me a sentimental idiot but that's why TS3 scares me, it's almost like I have to re-meet everyone I know.
I'll probably get over it, but do you really have to come off like a bossy nitt every time you post?

People's voices shouldn't make a difference. You got to the put a name with a voice, sure, but it'll still be the same person. You shouldn't rely on a voice alone to get to know someone. The voices you got to know on TS2 were basically fakes or impostors because of the horrible quality. The voices you'll hear on TS3 will be the real thing. So, instead of knowing the alias, TS3 will allow you to know the REAL person.

This is a videogame. If people in a videogame mean so much to you that you don't want their voices to change to you then you're pathetic and need to get a life. I don't think that in so many years of using the internet I have ever read something so pitiful from a person. Most normal people such as myself have friends in real life that we care about more than videogames. Most normal people such as myself have jobs and are productive members of society who prefer to play videogames casually every couple of days (sometimes even with friends from real life!) and don't get in a tizzy because people on the internet sound different, or are better than them and act 'harsh.' Seriously, for your own good if the way people sound on the internet means so much to you I would encourage you to seek help. Perhaps you have a computer addiction or social disorder which would make you value the internet more than real life. In the internet's defense, cats are WAY funnier online than in real life, but most things in real life are a lot better. You can even use the internet as a tool to help you meet people in real life, with many safe opportunities to meet real people such as http://meetup.com, where people with similar hobbies and interests can get together to partake in said interests.
