enemy is not killeble

Not a real technical issue but I thoght I let you know/ ask you:

I was playing on Instagib UK server and I really know and saw I hit the enemy may be 3 times but he would not die? Usually 1 hit and he is gone but this time I was hitting him ( I saw him moved by the hit like a little boost) but nothing happened he was still alive.
Dont know is this a server issue or what? It happened me other times to but not this obviously like this time. The rest of the game was normal so may be a ping issue from my side? (I think we can except cheating because the rest of the game he was hittable)

Ok I will try make demo of it but it happenes not with the same person and not always but just 1-2 times in a few months. When I see it happening after that I can not demo it because I have to wait another few months may be :).
I was just curiuos if it happen to other ppl too or I am the only one.
