I have played this game as a kid back in 2002 it's a fairly scratched disk, when I install MANUALLY install from the setup.exe, it would freeze at DacomaFem.utx. I got everything copied onto my 1TB drive, DacomaFem.utx would not copy from the Textures folder, neither would the botpack.u file from the System400 folder. It would only freeze half way into copying. Is anyone able to PM me copies of those files? botpack.u most importantly. Please, nothing too technical! :P

Why don't you patch to v436 it is the most stable client you can find the patch here

www.unrealkillers.com/downloads

you need 436nodeltapatch

Error when I tried running it.

Failed to enter Entry: Can't find the 'Entry'
History: UGameEngine:InitEngine

Some said when they had DX9 and it worked just fine, or delete the UnrealTournament.int to reset all defaults.
I'm using two DX11 video cards at the moment. I remember when I was using a 9800 GTX on my 750i board build, UT played just fine. I'm not sure if extreme overkill has anything to do with it, but this is what I got...

Is it just specs being so strong to where it can't play the game? I don't know if anyone else is able to play this game on DX11 video cards.

The file is Tournament.ini Unreal engine ut if it is corrupted, it is obvious that the game will not open.

UT doesn't have a DX11 renderer at all, if your card supports DX11, it supports all previous DXs as well, so you wouldn't see any difference.

Remove (relocate) your Unrealtournament.ini file from your system folder and try again

No luck, even with UnrealTournament.ini removed, and went through the UTPatch436nodelta patch setup, still the same error. Does it matter if you're missing texture files? Because I was not able to copy DocomaFem.utx from the disk.

There is a D3D11 renderer here :

Download the demo from the same link and patch with 436nodelta.

It works fine now, thanks for the link. I probably should have been smart enough to use that link anyway! :D (www.unrealkillers.com/downloads)

Max resolution I could do was 1680x1050 on my 1080p display, quality doesn't vary at all on full screen though. It's fun to go back on old games I grew up playing, Quake III Arena was the only game I would play until I bought, Crysis 2, Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. A bunch of 2nd edition games. I always was on Q3, because unlike UT, you can strafe, get speed, use mouse acceleration, and it feels less challenging to focus a railgun on Q3A than a sniper on UT.

I came here to get help for the installation for Unreal Tournament G.O.T.Y '99, and I thank y'all for the help. Feel free to add me under these links or check out the videos. :>
