Interesting read on this thread, the journey without end of making someone else's menu system work with my code.
Resumed in a few statements:
Frontend (by Gust, not provided):
- Capable of HTTP transmission of map/rule list.
- Increased map count.
- Extremely simple selection of gametypes and variations.
- Map list cached during game session.
Backend:
- Map list generation optimized and without limitations (excepting for the 1024/32 include/exclude filters).
- Server Packages can be altered to make a multi-gametype server without excessive downloading.
--- XC_Engine servers do the above in a less hacky and crash-free way.
- Kickvoting: NexGen integration (1 match auto-ban), Moderators cannot be kicked, server needs 5 players to allow players to kickvote.
- HTTP Webserver auto-setup by CMV, no need to manually activate the Webserver.
- Random map vote option!
