The last few days I keep crashing at the start of games, it's starting to bug me now because it's happening quite a lot(> 5 times a day).
Is there any know reason that would cause these errors to keep happening?
Every time it happens there is a horrible buzzing sound, like UT is trying to run 1000 sound clips at once.

I'm receiving more and more of those as well. I don't know where it's coming from but it always says something about ACE tickrate...

This happens to me often as well, but it seems to depend on the map, and I noticed it doesn't happen to me (at least not as often) if I use the Galaxy audio drivers. I will only use the OpenAL drivers though because the sound is just so much better. The maps it happens on most consistently are Klondike and Brickwalled. I believe @n0b made those maps so maybe if he sees this he can chime in on what he may have done differently from other maps.

On a 2nd thought, does it happen to load in just fine within a small corner/area without the whole view of the map that cause you to crash out? Something to try.
It seems to be control and duku.
When it crashes, it turns on enhanced pointer precision, and half of the time the next start up the mouse is really buggy. UT makes my head hurt sometimes...
