    Congratulations!
    You have just downloaded a rare gem in UT99 that is Gauntlet!
    In this readme you will find instructions to help you setup
    your very own Gauntlet server! Gauntlet is bassed off the orignal
    ANCIENT Gauntlet gametype by the U4e Team. If you want to see Gauntlet in Action!
    Play a game on this server:
    Address: 8.3.5.197 Port: 7777

    --==( Offline Practice Session Notes )==--
    Gauntlet was designed for online play and it wopn't work to it's fullest offline
    In fact, I'm not certain if it will work at all! However if your daring and downloaded
    this to play offline I have included the .int file Gauntlet needs to show up in your list of
    gametypes. I tested it and it seems to work other than Statistics will not work. Goodluck!

    --==( Directions For Server )==--
    Okay, I'm going to try to make this as painless as possible
    with step by step instructions, ready

    Before Installing!
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    In order for Gauntlet 10 to work properly you need to have Nexgen111
    Installed on your server!

    If you DO NOT have Nexgen111 installed on your server then you can
    download it from here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3C9136DK
    Then follow the instructions in the Nexgen readme

    Step -(1)-
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Copy all the files in the system folder into your servers system folder

    Step -(2)-
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Edit your servers UnrealTournament.ini
    press crtl+f and find ServerPackages=

    add these lines in:
    ServerPackages=ExuWeaponsLite
    ServerPackages=Gauntlet-10-BetaV2

    Then save.

    Step -(3)-
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    If your server has a command line for startup here's what your going to want to use below:
    CTF-Face.unr?game=Gauntlet-10-BetaV2.GauntletCTF?mutator=MapVoteLA13.BDBMapVote, ExuWeaponsLite.EXUWeaponModifier,ExuWeaponsLite.EX UReplace,ExuWeaponsLite.DeemerToLRPC,SLV205.Strang eMutator,GauntletAssaultFix.GauntletAssaultFix

    This has all the mutators running that make Gauntlet work at it's best

    if your running a server another way you need to run these mutators
    Mutators:

    MapVoteLA13.BDBMapVote (Mapvote)
    ExuWeaponsLite.EXUWeaponModifier (EXU Weapons)
    ExuWeaponsLite.EXUReplace (EXU Items)
    ExuWeaponsLite.DeemerToLRPC (EXU Super Weapon replaces Redeemer)
    GauntletAssaultFix.GauntletAssaultFix (Fixes Assault Maps For Play In Gauntlet)

    Step -(4)-

    If you have a redirect setup on your server for fast downloads
    upload the files from the UZ Folder to your redirect

    Gauntlet can be customized in MANY WAYS Look at hte different .ini files to see!
    Also it would be nice if you posted your servers IP on GauntletWarriors.com we would love to stop by

    Looks nice Wildcard. Great job.

    I only played Gauntlet once when you tried my pack about 1 year (or more) ago to see how things were handled and to chec the gametype itself.

    From the visuals I guess you didn't change much since back then, so I assume you spent most of the time implementing other kinds of features and fixing bugs

    Awe yeah it was a lot of work lol but the BIG thing I added is Gauntelt statistics as you can see from the last few screen shots It knows all the players records who have played their and has a top ten scoreboard

    I absolutely cannot wait to see how Gauntlet goes with Nali Weapons 3 once you finnish that
    It's almost mandatory to have a powerfull weapons mod on with gauntlet because the swarms power is
    Quickly overwhelming to most players it's Pretty INTENSE!

    I assume you're saving that into a ini (into a bigass array of structs), so how many players is the mod able to *record* atm?

    Well, it should be less laggy server-side (way less), the nukes have a slightly bigger range, but the gameplay and visuals should be much superior (all relative the previous pack ofc). So, in terms of comparision the new pack should be "safer" to use in such gametype, but let's see how it goes.

    Yeah, the first time I played I lost, it's really a gametype that must be played with other players.
    Btw, have you thought (or implemented already) the possibility to have as many monsters/gates as theorically "X" players can handle.

    Let's say that 1 player can handle 3 gates and 30 monters, with 2 you would spawn 6 gates and 60 monsters instead, something like that. What do you think (or have you done that already)?
