Hello heatwave. This is a combo issue correct? Although this us IG I'll give you an answer but please post in combo section in future

I understand your frustrations. Believe me. I know we are hugely understaffed however, while our servers may be popular. Alot of this people just do not take part in the forums or the community. As such there is no way to get to know these players other than observe how they play.

My view is I know there is alot of laming on combo. It needs mods to whip people into shape but there are so many obstacles to overcome that it is very hard. It's hard to find people who are reasonable, who won't overdo bans and turn players away, who won't rage ban, who won't abuse their privleges, who won't make things fun. The fact is when this happens. People leave and we do not want that. As such, thee haven't been any mods because basically it's better to have no mod than to have someone who kills games and makes them not fun to play.

If and when we/I hand out permissions, it's done properly. I'm only one person and honestly there's only select few people I trust. With that said, we are on the lookout however from past experiences people who ask for and harass for permissions end up abusing and I'm adamant that will not happen here.

Hang in there with us. If I have time I will start moderating players and servers myself. You could really help us though. I know it's hard to prove a lamer in combo with just a screen but if you could start making short demo recs say between 30secs to a minute. We will take the action that needs taking and once people see this happening their behaviour and gamesmanship will improve. We use very superior ban system here which is very hard to bypass so everyone is punished when required.

Not trying to push the workload up more... But a proper hiscores system which you've mentioned Would be awesome Sam

I'd also like to suggest some more map changes. But I'll open up another topic for this as I and several others are tired of similar maps being played too close together. Eg. DukuCB3, dukuCB6, duku(x). Cutting this down would be great.
I'll organise that when I get home anyways.

And I agree, we don't need any power hungry naabs

I will shut the server down tomorrow and enable the stars logging. I will then open up the stats db say maybe a week later.

We will move hosts first though but this should be all next week.

U all talking about laming....

Some times new players have no idea, they camp or breaking other insta rules, server no written rules. I think most of us can recognize new player, who must learn the rules, and i hope most of us will help new1 become insta player not the lamer

I ofc agree thats annoying, when some1 laming, but do U think this is really dangerous or smth?

I think thats only some kids or very childish people. Some times they want 2 ruin the game and only 1 thing we should 2 do is ignore them

if they will not make us mad they will leave quickly in my opinion, and in my experience.

But in my opinion there is other problem we CANT IGNORE on server. I mean racial hatred, insults towards other nationalities.
I saw many times people who were full of hate and agression, and want 2 insult other coz of their nationality. I think this is reall reason 2 use MOD positions.

My message is: "in the virtual world do not ever say something you do not say the other person straight in the eye"
