if you guys open up a pugging channel at irc.globalgamers.net you may have more activity.
it's the north american Ut99 irc community. may as well have two. globalgamers has Abot as a pug bot run by Andro.

It's hard enough getting the current one populated not mentioning the countless players who now finally have and join us in IRC it'd be suicide to have another as it would create a segregation. We could just go there and ask them to join us though...

i say leave quakenet entirely. go to globalgamers and start advertising. then get your regular UK members and popular community members to IDLE. leave their irc on 24.7 (mirc uses 4mb of ram?) that'll encourage more people to hang around and you wont have to ask people to join irc to pug. pugs will happen of their own accord.
this is what has worked for many channels in globalgamers.

I've tried getting the 2 communities together Joe and neither side wants to budge. I posted on this website about it and Prounreal. I never get any responses....good or bad. So I said screw it now.
