I think u should get demos from pugs. And if they are from public, at least take a demo for more players, when u see only 2 or 3 guys in same videos its boring.
Watch a video where a good player kill noobs is boring.

You should add more SIEGE Demo's, MLSG Is all about siege, not CTF or 1v1's.
Secondly, this is my opinion, If your going to make a "promo video" be more professional. Why, because when other people watch it, that have never played in a MLSG, or even played siege. They dont want to see: "I got 99 problems, and MLSG isn't one"(Sounds kidish) Also "Well if you dont i feel bad for you son. Take out the word son, sound more professional.

Start demoing pugs Zac.
But its not a bad idea at all I actually like it.
But get the more experienced players and more experienced tactics on the video if you want to promote it.
Make it look like its something you have to be good to do.

to make a promo video, take a look of what other people have done to promote the season.

They all have clips of maps and elements of what would be going on in the season. The mod is the same throughout the whole video not a random DM match of themselves. For me, to make a promo it is like making a story make it flow, have all the info and demos you will be needing in the promo. Finally have the irc channel and website for more information, you got to advertise it or else they won't know where to find us or join. Like to add this, for the audio make it flow, like make it begin smoothly and end smoothly don't cut out songs, if you want to cut songs use the "fade away" to make it clean. Also do not turn up the volume in a song, i don't know if you know this, but they have a limit. When you go above the limit it just sounds horrible and crackling sounds which is bad for a promo video. Ideally for promos, the song should go with the rhythm of the demos, mod and game itself, that is why I have people just use the game music for the promo. For example razorback, mechanism eight, foregone destruction, run and go down are good promo songs for UT.
