i need to know if your gfx card can actually give out 75hz of refresh rate, your monitor maybe can but if the card cant your stuck with 60hz

teamviewer could be an option cause I can just look through your pc and see the information I need
Thanks B|aZe for your late response!

Got those renders by default (comes with MLUT-UT Edition System Only files), OpenGL (3.7), DXD9, DXD10.
One feels worse than the other. Also tried my original UT99 CD1 default installation, but it's the same.

I looked up some detailed information about the X300 chipset and it does indeed support 75hz up-to 160hz.
I tried 60hz/75hz at windows display panel tab (advanced display properties) and CCC (Catalyst Control Center), but frankly i don't notice the changes between 60hz & 75hz, it's not choppy but neither smooth.
I guess one must have a good eye to perceive such minor changes, but i don't think we even can.

I tried default settings of the DX9 and 3D features provided by CCC as well as optimized settings such as AntiAliassing etc, [quality to performance and vice versa].
Tried different ini's, different versions of vga driver, different UT installments, even OS's (i had to revert from W7U-64 to XP-32 because W7U began to run very slow because of my RAM).

This pc runs 2K4 and even HL2 maxed out flawlessly but bottlenecks on UT'99 which was released 6 years prior to the build of this pc!? Weird..

It's a shame my old i7 laptop had to die (never let your kids run with these things :O), and i'm not planning on upgrading my hardware anytime soon because this pc was a bargain and fits great as mediacenter.

I'll check out that ini some time later. I'll get back at you.

    BUMP

Same stuff different PC (Yes i change pc's more often than my clothes, but thats because i always get cheap systems (P4's) through 2nd hand advertisment site's, because i have very low income (50E/wk) and my money and bills are paid by a special administration department since i gots of unpaid dept's so i cannot affort those fancy high end machine's :-( )
And i came across this system for less than 25 bucks (just the pc, ram & dvd-rw drive) i already had monitor etc.
    But i'm drifting off the subject, let's get to the point;

    CPU/RAM/GPU Spec:

    HP-Compaq DC7800p (Small Form Factor)
    Intel Core2Duo vPRO E6650 @ 2,23Ghz
    2GB Ram PC2-5300 @ 333Mhz
    Intel GMA3100 - 256MB Shared Memory @ 1440x900
    Packard Bell Viseo 191WS (19") @ 60Hz
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

I tried the usual dualcore fixes, tweaks, ini's, renders and what not but it's still barely playable.

I don't want to bother you guys with my problems, but if any of you would like to look into it i'd appreciate it :-)

Ps. I'm using Chickens-UTMLUT Edition.3c and currently OpenGL render because the rest is even more sh!t atm.

I use the UnrealTournamentMultiCoreFix.ini as my regular since it's opted with the fixed .exe, but i also included the regular ut.ini opted with the regular ut.exe in the zip folder provided by my attachment.

First things first, describe the actual issue on your current setup.
Second, does it happen on SoftDRV? (software mode is the way to start debugging)

It's a slight improvement of the UT Issue i had on the first page in my first post, but it's still weird.

When i walk around it's like i'm hovering above ground. It's not easy to discribe the feeling of movement. The mouse has the same problem.. it's as if my crosshair isn't centered when im moving and still inplace of it's previous position while i already moved my mouse around.
(my mouse has 3 dpi settings 300-800-1400 iirc, but i cannot fine-tune anything since there are no programs for this mouse (Maxxter gaming mouse) Changing dpi goes by 3 clicks but i don't think these default settings are very accurate since it's a 5$ mouse.

I haven't tried Soft.Render yet since the screen is always super dark, and cranking up my monitors brightness wouldn't do much anything, atleast with all my previous systems.

I'm sorry if this wouldn't make any sense, but it's like i said hard to discribe the exact problem during gameplay.

    ---Update---

Just tried Software render and it's alot better than the other renders but way too dark, though it doesn't give me mouse issues.
Also i came to notice that no matter what resolution (I literally tried all of them) my teammates and my opponents are very small and thin and you can hardly see them, sometimes they just dissapear into thin air but that doesn't matter because i'm killed before i could do anything anyway. Also the FOV looks like it's 200 or something since the viewing distance is insane, a map like say; CTF-AndAction is suddenly very, very large.
Not sure if this is related to the problems i'm currently experiencing or because of my monitor.

*D3D & D3D9; the mouse cursor moves slower than the actual mouse movement, even at the menu's which is very annoying.
    display/resolution/fov problem remains the same.

*OpenGL; Movement, mouse issues, as stated in OP

Forget all the patches. Open task manager and set affinity to one CPU. You should also set the your CPU speed on the shortcut (the single core speed not dual)

@medor thank you for your input, but it didn't change much. It still runs pretty weird.

@SAM I know about that, i tried setting my processor affinity pretty much after first ut boot, but the weird thing is, i couldn't change or click it.

I will try that command line. My speed is 2,3Ghz. Would that mean my input is; -CPUSPEED=1150 instead of -CPUSPEED=2300?
I will also try ut with vsync enabled, maybe that would help anything.

Oh and IF you (anyone) have seen me playing in the server last Saturday, thinking i fixed my unreal, i was not playing at home. Cough*jst2blond*Cough

Try setting your CPU Speed to the non-overclock speed (you can probably find it if you have the Everest program but there are some other program that can tell you as well but idk lol) and so you can if there is any difference.

do you know if all of your hp/hardware drivers are up to date? go here if not Drivers & Software for HP Compaq dc7800 Small Form Factor PC - HP Support Center.

also, some of those hp sff business machines came equipped with nvidia quadro cards, try this driver if so, NVIDIA DRIVERS 307.45WHQL

if the machine is in fact using onboard video, I would suggest using some lower end INI configurations, maybe check SJA's webpage to dl some preconfigured low end INI files.
