    I'm here again. Another xloc map.. I'm getting boring?



    DM-[TsF]-XlocTraining


    3 basic steps + ?

    Medium difficulty (easier than two last maps )

    Tele can be unlocked

    As ever for amateur/rookie

    I was trying to find some of the maps and I was like uhhh where did it go? (server crash and I lost it all lol) Reuploading now!

    Tried the TheLastJob xloc map, that was really nice! All good! 10/10
    I thought some area of the map was gonna let me instantly die, giving me adrenaline rush lmfao.

    It would be a good idea tho.

    Used OpenGL, didn't have any problem but I noticed the difference between the 2 because of the texture disortion. So there is a problem with the texture or something lol.

    Yes isn't a bad idea, but there is one xloc map with the exactly step with cannon (now i no remember its name). When I can, I don't want copy other maps but I know, it's not simple to be originals every time In my opinion Xloc maps don't give the same liberty than BT , repetitions risk are around the corner.

    Thx If I've choose between mine 9, is one of my favourites with DM-[TsF]-CrazyLoc and DM-[TsF]-CityHunterXLoc.

    Is interesting know opinions about my maps: why like it or not, which steps you've appreciated etc..

    About crashes, now I've same issue.. It's simply inexplicable : run ok only with OpenGl, and I've used Direct3d9 for mapping

    The first version was running well. The only different thing I've moved trigger nearer tele. And re-save. I can't understand why..

    Just that 1 texture? There is more than 1 texture than just that... but I'll try again.

    Btw that text note wasn't updated and I thought I was using an outdated map haha.

    @Blackdeath I tested offline again, I still get the crash at the next picture.

    Tried out a few other, seem to be ok. But when there are tele in the map, sometimes I don't notice if I went to the new tele level or what. :P Would be nice to see a msg trigger saying I enter what level # or so. (IscLoc for example)

    Ps. Why do you always play as Player#?

    I've tested many times yesterday, on local and in my clan's server. No issues. Now again with Direct. Not understand why I can import texture on UE without problems (256 color) , and only 1 video render type can't work. The only cause maybe is texture size (no remember if were 512x256 or 256x128). Never happened before, i'm sorry for this

    I need check again... ^^



    Tele trigger

    I can't believe you don't notice where you are: everytime you return to the begin and one different door is opening Trigger messages are useful, not in this situation. If you talk about DM-IscLoc : was my first xloc map, didn't know all about UE

    Haha ok. You can always redo and improve it. As there are plenty of peoples out there who never done xloc before, they can get confused easily. Which is why I would like to make it xloc easy-friendly for them.. hehe.

    I think D3D having some texture sizing problem, so what I'd do is make couple of 256x256 and slap them on together like 1 big pic or something like that. Or to do a half, still have it 256x256 and just use the right click feature and tell it to show 1 half of the pic, then the other designed wall to show the other half.. only way I've been able to to such size without any problem afaik but I still have no clue why. I tried comparing the settings between my OpenGL with D3D9 and it still crash.
