Yeah, I got a complaint...

This has been going on and I need to know if it is OK for someone with admin rights to change the map immediately after the game starts just because they don't like what the majority voted? Every time it happens I quit in protest. This time IronMaiden changed it. One day I waited for nearly half a day to play a certain map just to have it changed by an admin.
So what's the deal on this so-called "public" server?

LOL 1st of all
1. Ironmaiden isn't an admin XDDD.
2.The map wasn't forced, most wanted to play diff map so the MOD started up a map vote because he didnt want to play the same/diff map we played already.

Ironmaiden isn't an mod or admin.

For the map to be changed, it have either to be done by majority of mapvote request by an annoying player that force all other to vote... or...

an actual mod or admin to actually change it without the player permissions..

This is why you need to screenshot (or demo but screenshot can be effective in this case) so you'd see what's going on and report it to us.
If u are using xconsole, using the dump command will give you a log of texts of stuff instead of a screenshot.

Then IronMaiden was being a smart ass when he said he did it. Fact is the new map was voted on by the majority. If most wanted to play a different map they would have voted that way. The admin kept hounding everyone to vote and kept bringing up the map vote during the game. So yes, the vote was forced.

I should have the demo. Maybe I will post it tomorrow but again, this is a recurring thing lately. At the end of the game all get a chance to vote for the next map. But some don't like it and an admin changes it. Bringing up the map vote three or more times to get a new map sshould be banned once the majority pick a map. IMHO

If majority of the peoples voted it and it wasn't repeatly played like a bunch of bathroom map... it's not too right to change map just because an admin (or mod whoever it may be) decided to bring up mapvote and force other to vote or whatever.

So whoever is doing it... need to explain.

I have a strange tingly feeling that the mapvote was working the way it is supposed to work and no admin whatsoever was involved. People at an older age can easily get fooled by things.
However, if wrong punishment will be applied with pleasure.

It was krikor who changed the map since they voted 2 mcswartzly versions in a row while nobody wanted to play the map.
