Have you installed / updated directX11? Seems like you are having a lack of information in the d3d11.dll in your windows system folder.

Maybe due to DirectX12 with Win 10. Windows 10 uses DirectX 12, which includes every previous version (except DirectX 9 and lower, you have to install them manually)
Have you tried to change D3D renderer (opengl)?
    Gcard updated ?
I am just trying to give you some advices and probably not the good ones but this is what i will try to check firstly with this error...
That s why i stay with W8.1. I see so many computers fucked up with W10 recently...

i didnt update dx11 recently - at least not on purpose - maybe it was in one of those windows auto updates ...
i was on a trip for 3 weeks, updated nvidia driver and some windows updates and now this one keeps popping up all of a sudden

and ye, the renderer doesnt matter, it even shows with software rendering.

@Nordog - i didnt do anything manually, i thought dx is 100% downwards compatible except for the really early versions / 6 and lower - do i need to get dx11 additionally?

Download a 32-bit d3d11.dll and put it in your game folder (not System32).
Didn't work? Download another version of d3d11.dll, google is your best friend.
