    Question dear americans o.o

sup people of america, what do you think of Trump, and Clinton? o.o

I read the news and the comments, and it looks like a lot of people favor Trump over Clinton.

What are the pros and cons of the candidates?
    What might happen next?

    (sorry, im just too curious)

Clinton is a liar and a fake. Trump might be inflammatory sometimes but at least you know where he stands because he isn't afraid to say it.

I highly suggest you take a couple of hours Scott Adams' blog (Dilbert), at least most of the election related entries.
It basically objectively tells you how Trump's been so capable of convincing ppl of all backgrounds and smashing opponents one after the other.
You'll also learn a lot about persuasion and manipulation in the process.
Then once you're done you may start checking out what the policies are about.

Regarding Hillary Clinton, I believe the whole scandal thing is going to blow up AFTER she gets the nomination... and I think Trump is aware of this (plus he has secret service connections).
A couple of months ago it was "Lyin' Ted" and take a look at the effect it's had:

Last week he started preparing a new bomb: "Crooked Hillary".
I think he's gonna trounce her on this election, unless something extraordinary happens...

Politics are generally speaking rotten to the core in America, but Trump is hitting legendary status in his campaign. He's a breath of fresh air compared to every other politician. People can't get past his "build the wall" thing and supporting Trump is almost guaranteed to get you called a racist hateful scumbag. Female Trump supporters are super hot though, so that's pretty cool.

Bernie Sanders is the trendy candidate, at least among my age group, but he has no real chance of becoming president. Clinton is the worst and a criminal that shouldn't even be considered for president. It will come down to Clinton vs Trump.

And after all that mess sorts itself out who knows what will happen.

Everyone seems to forget that Arabs/Muslims also fought against Hitler and his Nazi apartheid regime against Jews. Hindustan (now India) alone provided 2.3 million soldiers. When WW2 was over. The Western countries were pretty much begging "immigrants" to come over. Because without people, residents and citizens, there is no economy and it would be impossible to rebuild society. So, before anyone goes blaming immigrants, think about these facts before you do.

Society as you know it, was built by immigration. If we go down to the root of immigration, you'll probably find the that the white caucasian race are the real immigrants.

And I leave this for the rest of you to consider the level of this man's IQ.

PS - I truly believe this Trump malarky is all just another distraction from what is actually going on....I'm sure he doesn't entirely represent the people of America. The people will probably breathe a sigh of relief when he doesn't get elected and therefore they'll be happy with the new President.

In America perhaps a candidate like Trump is rather new, however, it's concerning the amount of support the ultra right-wing politicians have gathered around the world the last few years. Certainly it's because people are fatigued of the typical political parties that take over every single election and honestly I'd be more worried about the under the table shit Clinton would pull off over Trump's shenanigans, but if Sanders is among the choices, you take him.
Still don't know why americans are so allergic to socialism, I mean I get the ideal model might be a utopia, but if anything, a big country like USA can sustain it due to not being dependent on the leadership from a certain person like it has happened in third world countries.

Sanders is still a career politician just like Hilary and socialism will never be able to achieve it's intended model. A large part of Trump's appeal is that he isn't actually a politician at all.

When you get politicians bought and paid for by lobbies, special interests and foreign countries in your big parties, of course there's going to be Nationalist movements, it's a no-brainer.
When these come up, it's usually as a response to systems that don't favor the citizen and attempts to destroy the values of the nation.
And on the latest years it's the left-wingers that have been doing that.

Taking in socialism for a while to try and fix tremendous social and economic issues in a third world nation? It's reasonable in the short run and can evolve to better if the leader doesn't decide to stay in power forever.
Taking it in because your country is too rich and you're feeling stupidly generous and have nothing else to do? You deserve every bad thing that's coming for you in the next 50 years.

Back with Mujica (who was a disaster) my country took refugees, the backslash was almost immediate and they ended up self-deporting.
Our state airplane company went bankrupt and our oil company had to be bailed out after a 1bln dollar debt due to massive mismanagement.

Right now we're that country that elects a christian, conservative as our 'socialist' president (who's still straightening up the mess Mujica left behind) and maybe that's the reason we're one of the very few countries in South America where the left-wing government isn't at risk of being ousted via popular voting or impeachment.
I'm just saying, most left-wingers nowadays are extermists/radicals and are willing to destroy portions of a country's system just to see their little dream of utopia go true.
Trump isn't exactly a far right wing politician, I'd even dare to say he's less of an extremist than Sanders is.
But sure, the media will paint any Nationalist as "MUH HITLER" to try and smear him/her.

Any system that depends on a leader will fall off eventually, Venezuela is a good example of that, but I guess we agree that here in Southamerica, both left and right-wing parties share the same interests.

My fear with a guy like Trump getting elected is the amount of intervention he would do in our countries because let's be honest, SA has been USA's backyard for decades and if you go against their will, you'll end up with a blockade like it happened to Cuba, or with companies plummeting the economy and using their control of the media to sabotage governments (e.g. current Venezuela, Chile in 1973, etc.)
