    help meh

I was wondering if someone could possibly help me.

I had to reinstall UT because of reasons and I've reinstalled it a few times now but the brightness won't change on it. Like the numbers change and the brightness bar is up full in settings too but it just won't change on the screen and it stays the same.

Does anyone know any solutions or anything?

Did you install D3D9/OpenGL? & Change the brightness in UT.ini?

Gammabrightness= 1 or something like that?

You need to change your renderer. If you're using ATI go for D3D. Otherwise for nvidia it's OpenGL

D3D cannot change brightness on Windowed mode, OpenGL will adjust the entire OS's brightness instead.
    If that fails then...

What you want is the gamma helper.
    http://www.zeckensack.de/glide/
The glide wrapper includes a gamma changer that works the same way OpenGL renderers when changing gamma/brightness.
So, install the Wrapper, and only use the Gamma helper to adjust the brightness before the game starts up, re-adjust once you close the game.
