    win10 with gtx 980 ti, problems with brightness

    hi guys,

    on my new win 10 pc i have a nvidia gtx 980 ti installed. Running UT is sad at the moment because it's very dark. Changing darkness with F11 key does NOT change hte brightness in any kind. It says it does from 1/10 to 10/10 but there is no really effect.

    Another thing is i can set dynamic lightning on/off with no effect.

    Do i have to use any special nvidia drivers for ut and what i have to do, that they work?

    Hope somebody can help me.

    Try to type preferences inn consol and go to the selected display driver and change gamma

    Well suppose im not gonna update my gfx card untill this issue is fixed :P

    First to do ... you have nvidia so set UT under opengl
    Second try d3d9 if not working

    You know how to set it ?

    I never got OpenGL to run with UT. I tried several times, but all I got was a UnrealTournament.exe running in task manager without any visible window or just crashing UT direct after starting it.

    But luckily, I get it now after several tries to run with "GameRenderDevice=D3D10Drv.D3D10RenderDevice" (section below):.

    I really don't know what was the final step. Maybe the reboot of the system was the right thing. But it works now I'm happy

    Any idea how to setup the audio driver? I have "AudioDevice=Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem" but I'm not sure that is correct. It works also, but is that the right one?
