    Kicked because of modified WinDrv.dll

    Today I installed UT99 on my machine, haven't played it in a few years and wanted to play some SIEGE like back in the days.
    After starting UT99, it was slow as fuck, endless PRECACHING screens, etc.. so I followed advice of some forums posts and installed an up-to-date OpenGL renderer from here:

    Things got faster and loaded almost normal, however, I cannot connect to the SIEGE server because this updated renderer includes a modified WinDrv.dll file. With the original WinDrv.dll, things just seem to get buggy again.

    Any solution to this?

    Prechaching is a client problem not a server one. You should probably change renderer and also turn off pre caching
