Failed to login: client ID already in use

I'm at a friend's house and both of us are trying to play on the uk insta servers. However, only one of us can play at a time. Whenever one of us tries to connect while the other is in the server. We'll get this error message:

Both of us are using the same UT chicken edition. Also, this wasn't a probelm before in the past and it seems like something new. Is there something in the ini file we can change to enable us to both play on the server at the same time?

i cant remember but its somteing you need to delete in your nexgen id or soemthing.. come discord https://discordapp.com/invite/kBY3XuB . more admins there (active ones that can help)

It looks like you're using the same copy of UT on different computers.

You need to delete the nexgen id in the user.ini file. You will find it in your system folder.

deleting the nexgen id seemed to do the trick. Me and my buddy were able to play on the US server. Thanks!
