w00ting1way is actually kinda fun. But yeah I usually leave the server when one of those other maps (except maybe BrokenLimits) are picked.

I guess what's wrong is that there is no CTF-niven-chaos.

CTF-w00ting1way(SE): is always a camp fest.
CTF-2ManJob: is too narrow and a spawn kill fest, because of how narrow it is.
CTF-1on1-Joust: No comment needed
CTF-2on2-Slant: andaction with a lift.

Also made the mistake of playing CTF-Football last night, you basically had to get a holy shit just to grab the flag.

General consensus: remove crappy maps or only make them eligible for votes when there are x amount of players

Making maps only eligible with x number of players seems a bad idea for a pub server tbh

It would seem that a lot of people just like to see how many frags they can get, rather than how many caps. A lot of people just want to be shooting the gun nonstop. Can't really blame em though... it is fun. But capping the flag is even more fun!

I vote the open/bare maps, because I get better fps on them. I would vote the pug maps, but they are unplayable.

You could use a NexGen override on the player count system.
If certain maps are voted, change player slots from 12 to 10... or 8.
That'll teach them.
