Team balancer for PURE is broken

The balancer is severely broken. I've seen team cookie difference in +150, +175, +180, and it said the teams are balanced. Games are very one-sided. Also the requirement of 3 people typing !teams to start balancing is not working. When there's +100 difference, it should start balancing even when one person requests it.

BTW it's the US Insta server, not sure about the UK one.

If you have one person typing !teams its gonna be a disaster which is why its set at 3 I believe. Think about it. One person doesnt like the teams because hes on the losing team so types teams and several people get changed... it will be a cluster fuck

That's why I said when the difference is over +100. It's clearly unbalanced. For minor difference like +30 or +50, requiring 3 people is fine.

What do you mean? Are you saying the server assumes the bad players have hired pro so the server compensates by making the teams more unbalanced to add weight to the winning team?

There is a case where a player can take advantage of the cookie system. Here another example: A pro player pretend to suck to lose alot and when the person has so low cookies, he starts to go MAX POWAHHHHHHHHHH *super saiyan*

What does that have to do with hugely unbalanced teams? The +150 team was winning consistently. There's no hidden pro player in the weak team. And there's certainly no hidden pro player on the +150 team; otherwise, it won't be +150. Are you saying that just because there's a slight chance of a pro player who deliberately weakened himself to join the weak team then it's ok to let the teams be hugely unbalanced most of the time?

Ignore lordrixuel he goes off on weird statements.

There could be instances where a team is +100 simply because they have one extra player. Theres also the factor theoretically that when a team thats -100 for example and is losing by 2-0 caps just stops trying? Or doesnt attempt to make a comeback or push out of their base etcetc. Theres a lot of factors to consider when deciding whether teams are unbalanced so i guess having it set at 3 people to type teams would do a rebalance would suffice. Willing to listen to suggestions however

Just been in an incredibly unbalanced match. The balancer will say "Teams are very unbalanced (+210 to red)" but typing "!teams" results in "The teams are already balanced."

Honestly, what's the point of even having a balancer when it works like this?

2 people need to write teams to get someone switched.
