    Niven is a shitty, shitty map.

    No strategy, just spam mines and wait until one team is stacked enough to overload the door with rockets, spam mines and SPs on the ramps, and slowly kill the enemy team's base over the course of six hours.

    Here are some poll options. What's the general opinion on Niven (and its negligibly less retarded brother Niven][) and other spammy maps?

    A bunch of people still seem to like it so I think it should stay. If Higor can code this config-for-each-map feature I'd say limit mines and OT. After today’s mess I'll actively vote for other maps when Niven pops up or I'll go spec / offline. That was too much crap this time around.

    I do agree though that the balancer should be improved before maps are removed or fudged with. Often, even this newbie can see the "stackedness" before the game even begins; and this can affect any map.

    Further, I don't want to argue mid-game with teammates about where each of the limited number of mines should go. There's already too much team-removing when some super-nerd thinks he knows better.

    this is a map that is another. each has its peculiarities. This requires positioning a supply line near the core, but it is not the example seule.Par "doa-arena"!
    Let's say it is in the diversity of Unreal games seduced!

    Kill it or edit it so there are two entrances into each base, even if it is a tele. under-kill map. There is a niven map like that I remember in CTF iG, it had two doors into the entrance. One like it is now and the other to the right of that door. No idea which it is as there are a tonne of nivens out there.

    Remind yourself that it recently hit a 6 hour game which killed the traffic that night for hours after. This is not a one off either, niven is constantly hours long. Perfect for low skill spammers who love a leech game, not so good for the other players waiting. An hour or two, fine. 2+ hours? needs re-evaluating.

    Polls don't work though, so this is pointless. Especially as over 50% of the players don't even come to the forum to vote so it is a realistic outcome.

    It's not just Niven, if other maps goes overtime, it kills the traffic for next map and so on. Obviously people like Niven because it gets voted
