    Demo Problem

    hello. recently I wanted to go back to ut and I wanted to record some demos, but ...

    when play demos recorded in uk comboinstagib they are closed after a few minutes and show me this:

    demos recorded in uk instagib-us, have no problems. I have only tried on these two servers.

    Weird... will try to see if I can find any answer.

    Edit: Can't find anything. So that left me, which demo file is that? Or did you download and update the file for demo manager v3.3? If you haven't, you might want to try?

    the demo was recorded with demo manager 3.3, and install it several times and the problem is still (only in the comboinsta server)

    It's either the NewNet HUD or the DemoManager spectator calling either 'Trace' or 'TraceActors' (I'm more inclined to TraceActors)
    Siege used to have a similar crash problem caused by a change that did exactly as I described above.

    For some design issue it's not safe to use physics/line checks during the rendering stage, unless your client has XC_Engine installed.

    I do not know what the XC_Engine, ¿if I install that will solve the problem?

    You can give it a try (XC_Core v6 is a required dependancy)

    NOTE: v18 has a problem with the upcoming ACE release (no ETA yet).
    If anth updates ACE before I update XC_Engine, downgrade (only) XC_Engine.dll to version 17.

    NOTE 2: If after 'reconnecting' to the same server on the same map the sky effect is gone, just disconnect and reconnect again.

    apology did not reply, I had to travel. The problem is solved, but now the translocator´s drive is bugged during playback of the demo, but it's a minor problem.
    Last night I went to the server without problems, but today all servers uk are shown as if they were fallen, I think it is because of this change. I could play without problems on other servers. When installing the engine and the core, I put the files in the system folder, but the folders with their respective files do not know where they're going, I also copied this in the ut.ini:

    ; GameEngine = Engine.GameEngine
    GameEngine = XC_Engine.XC_GameEngine
    ; NETWORKDEVICE = IpDrv.TcpNetDriver
    NETWORKDEVICE = XC_IpDrv.XC_TcpNetDriver

    doing this, the problem was solved with the demo but as I just wrote, today can not enter the uk servers which are shown as fallen.

    I do not know if I need something to do or configure something related to engine and core.

    I guess this is normal ... right? (screenshot)

    Absolutely normal.
    Regarding the servers, do they show as offline in the browser or is it a connection failure (after seeing the online)?
