    Next bout is on 6th November...and I have just about recovered from the illness from the last bout and I am feeling brilliant. This is my final bout of 2016. I am due an operation on my ear on 15th November(?) - can't remember and too lazy to check the letter next to me.

    I will return in the ring for the national championships in February....where I will once again attain an invite to train with the national team and enter the european competition. I was invited for 2015 and 2016. However, both years, I succumbed to injury. I have been injury free for a while now so this is encouraging. I might still just make it to world level.

    Always been a bit of a scrapper....when I was roughly 15. I attended Escrima for about a year. I then start Krav Maga (when it wasn't so mainstream rubbish) and trained in that for 3 years. I then wasted a couple of years of my life. After that phase of my life was over, I started training again, without intention to actually train in a fight discipline again...but the gym I was going to, was very well known as a top kickboxing gym....so I just started...and almost instantly was part of the fight team....since 2014. It's been a rollercoaster of a ride so far but I've learnt a lot and that's what this is about. Learning, discipline and staying humble
