I also take him on a 3 mile walk every day the weather is nice. He's a ball of energy but he gets enough exercise that he's tuckered and ready to cuddle up and pass out by 10.

I don't get the whole "dog years", my wife's husky is about 9 or 10 months old. What is that in dog years and wtf?

He's a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog), but he's either the runt of the litter or one of his (great?) grandparents was mixed with something smaller. He has all the markings and the mentality of a Heeler 100% (really smart, independent, insanely loyal, loves to herd things and go in circles, jump, do 360s, etc. haha), but 80% the size of your average Heeler. its the opposite, if a dog/cat is 15 years then he/she is 70 human years, 20+ would be around 90 or 100 human years. So as for you @utbusta if your dog is 8 to 9 months old then he is around 13 or 14 human years old. Originally Posted by NoReasonBoner
