    hello I did some updates with windows update recently, after that began to appear on the desktop a sheet with a writing desktop.ini gear, I searched for malware and found 2, maybe some virus modified or corrupted my windows. I have now discovered little that my ut just opens in safe mode.

    WindowedViewportY=985
    WindowedColorBits=32
    FullscreenViewportX=1280
    FullscreenViewportY=1024
    StartupFullscreen=False

    * If that work search the what is better for you

    you can always try to use someone elses already installed and working copy of ut, I can't remember when was the last time I had to do a fresh install of ut.
    Ive copied my ut directory to at least five different pcs over the years, each with a different windows version and it always works without any problems.''

    P.S I could always upload mine but it weighs 2,7gb atm since I'm not keen on getting rid of the chache files.

    Last chance

    allow UT in your firewall and antivirus and re build the UT registry with admin right using this http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/u...Fix%20UT99.zip
