    well i'm not sure about this case but sometimes the balancer is pretty bad and since can't switch teams anymore sometimes its better than letting a map go to waste

    my thoughts on this is that if the balancer did a better job shouldn't it not really matter if you do !s !t !p with at least 10 people in server? I have been switched a lot and end up killing my own buildings/tele/mines. Just wish there was a better solution to it, seems like the player that is switched is usually not the right one. I have done it before to balance things but I know other times its used for a pretty nasty stack lol shout out to adrian on simplex haha

    anyone know how it calculates who to switch?

    From what I could remember, it just usually determine trying to make it an even balance by cookies (having cookies equal for both team), and those cookies are graded by the player's overall score. For example, if the player score is higher than the usual, more cookies are added, and same goes for the opposite. So if player 1 have a cookie of 90, and player 2 have the cookies of 80, they are both being put on separate team. Then the list goes on... you can get the idea when you type !stats early in the game to see how it is organized.

    & Then it also switches out players who just last come into the game (due to download or high ping/latency *should not be confused about how their internet is working, it's the matter of the game organizing players with player IDs.) It could switch out players who disconnect then reconnect as well.

    May not be the best balancer according to this, but I think it should do more work by optimizing cookies for more details to collect player's stats and try to even it out and with that, load of info is put into that. But shouldn't make the server lag.

    Anyway, anyone else wanna point out how do they think they know how the balancer work?

    Sometimes its 2 players with a lot of cookies combined with a pile of dogshit, versus another team that is rather balanced in terms of strengths, but not sure what the solution could be... I remember a few years ago teams would be pretty good (and balanced) but cant recall if there was a balancer in the server at the time

    No there wasn't a balancer. Back then, no one would stack, everyone would stay on their teams and fight it out to the end even if the odds were against them. Now the opposite happens.

    too many new apes not enough oldschoolers to keep them in check and show them how its done

    add to that weapons are shit as fuck and hitboxes are terrible and siege in general and you have just new players playing cause they dont know any different to how siege is meant to be.
