    Ive never expereinced a earthquake before I havent ever learned what to do in case of an earthquake. Would you want your house to crush you or be outside?

    You are not guaranteed that streets are safe. Bridges easily go down, shattered streets, light poles falling plus the whole panic that an earthquake provokes (in people) makes a combination of disorder and chaos which is terrible by itself...
    As I said stay in your house, in a corner between two walls... a good building SHOULD (not 100%) resist things like this
