most people work during week so the best turnout is sat and sun - and most people with lives don't want to devote much time on sat to ut so in the last 10 tournaments sunday has proven to be best
feel free to pick another day and have nobody show

If you want to play a match for the third place schedule it for a Sunday! Saturday is rather bad indeed.
