personally i dont see why droid aka skarlet would jeopardise a team for laughs. Ive always seen him play fair but I wasnt there to witness anything so I'll sit this arguement out

The RU automatically is returned to the owner of the build. So he had nothing to return.

What about the upgrade RU?

That's a good point, maybe i'll suggest that the upgrade level be included in the returned RU (minus half), unless is already is.

Are you saying here the he was using the nuke 'defensively'? I have seen very good use of the 'Nuking the Nuker' defense tactic. Also, I've nuked my own base and laughed about it too... ACCIDENTALLY..
