    UT99 in 2013 ??

    've uploaded this whole map pug since I wanted to share with some friends of mine that play other actual games (such as halo4 or cod), how UT99 is Fun, Competitive and still looks good. This texture are S3TC pack and I play with them everyday on high details. I didn't want to cut and get all the highlight since I wanted the whole footage in order to show an actual everyday map game on a Pick up Game.

    I don't want "better graphic" in UT (map, gun's effect for smoke rockets and such ... or "overpowered")... It can be revamped into a better anti-cheat and net covering better game play tho. lol.

    UT graphics are 14 years old, an upgrade shouldn't be a bad thing imo. As long you don't need an high end sli to run it on max settings

    Too power hungry graphics and new bugs can kill a game pretty easily, just take a look at UT3.

    What UT99 could use is a 'relaunch' with a major engine upgrade, the same game alone with better scripting, mapping features, DXT textures/materials without increasing requirements that much (built in anticheat too, agreed on that).
    But at this point... the odds that Epic does that are far lower than the odds of a team cloning the engine, improving it and making UT content run on it (lol?)

    there a way for download other s3tc textures (different textures from this site Texture Download Center) or just creat other s3tc textures? its not good play with only half of textures on high quality...

    i'm taking a new pc, this time i will can play with graphics on max quallity =D
