In order to share to UK what do I need to do? Convert file? Send file direct as it is, (.dem)?

Someone suggested windows movie maker in another thread about converting demos.. I also made a topic in the UK INSTA SERVER section part of forum, is this nero?
EDIT:
I tried movie maker with my demo and it said I didn't have the right codec installed
