I'm just of the opinion that we shouldn't interfere with the teams because you can never predict the outcome and may totally screw up the teams in the long run. Once you start balancing teams, based on your subjective point of view, you will be forced to do it each time or otherwise you are not being true to your own policy. Eventually, I imagine, it will lead to dissatisfaction among the players because it's hard to play the balancer.

also i guess, if you are the last person to switch teams you are more likely to have the balancer throw you back, i get your point now.

To be honest i was more thinking of 4-6 players as opposed to a full server, that's the times i have moved myself mainly.
