Momentum from hits and projectiles affects you one a scale of (1/0.4), meaning a simple shock hit will send you flying (basically that's one of the nerfs I applied on it).

Only if the mine is placed high enough, but that's not something you see in Simplex, you'll have some more space to avoid it though.
On Bathrooms it's a different story, you'll more often see mines placed at high locations to prevent runners from detonating them (guess who the main targets of these mines are), you could literally run your way to the core in Baths.

Speed won't help at all, mines react instantly to touch events now (was done to prevent my tele-nuke exploit) meaning it will go off as soon as you touch the external trigger.
