Its quite possible that the servers are(were) getting ddosed. But keep in mind its quite hard to protect against these kind of attacks. Games, and gameing companys are no exceptions. Runescape, League, World of warcraft , Play station network, Xbox live, Sony, google, etc. None are safe. From the research that ive done on the issue even if the host(Blaze, Sam in this case) upgraded and put money into the server for DDos protection, its actually quite inexpensive to ddos depending on how its done.

Now im not saying im an expert on the issue (Far from it) but that's just from im experienced and seen. So sadly we just have to wait it out and hope it subsides, or Blaze, Sam finds whos responsible and sues them xD
