Laggy Weapons on low ping servers

Hi there,
I have an unusual issue. On low ping servers (30-50 ping) my weapons are always laggy but my movement is okay. For instance, I will fire rockets and they look like they are coming from behind me as if someone was shooting rockets at me. I also play on high ping servers just so the low ping lag feels faster. I have tried all kinds of things like upgrading hardware, internet, mouse, monitor. Fooling around with netspeed (1000-20000),network settings (cable/lan), and running tracerts. Reloading UT from different sources (new, steam, Chicken's UT, etc.). Using all the renderers I can find. Using cache cleaner and dual core multifix. Changing ACE settings. Playing on Public and TDM servers. Anyway you get the point. I have tried a lot of stuff. It's still slow weapons. If it helps, my weapons are only slow online. Not practice mode.

Anyway, if anyone can think of something, that would be cool.

Is it just servers with newnet or zp or every server? Specific server?

Pretty much Ace and Newnet are the worst. Even with Highperftoggle etc. I can play on a server in India with similar laggyness.

Ok, so pinpointing the problem with ACE. How long has this been/since it started? Did you look at some ACE commands other than HPT? Jw.

I agree that it's probably Ace related. I've tried no adjustments, highperftoggle and compattoggle. It's been like this for at least a couple of years.

Hi Spiderman,
Yes, I like this server and it's Matrix bot. My ping is around 125 on it and I do have normal lag here. My weapons do fire quicker, I just need to lead more.
Basically on NA servers I try to aim my crosshair is at the end of your dodge. Most of the time there is like a .3-.5 second delay. Or, in those rare times it fires when I want, the other player takes no damage. It's almost like they were not in the area I thought they were. I know....weird. If I wasn't trying to get better, I wouldn't care. But it really sucks wondering if my weapons will work. Thanks.

Hello, may be some other things like "Game Speed" Or "Firing rate" effecting it (May be m wrong here).
Are you sure that you firing at slow or similar to actual fire rate of weapon?
Have you noticed Game speed of server and in offline mod?
And which mouse you using?

As far as I know the servers are all the same speed. Speed of bots online seems the same as practice mode. I use a Razor Deathadder 3.5 G.

This is the story of my life except that movement is also very laggy very much of the time. We should ask the Chileans how they do it because their 250-300 ping doesn't seem to affect them at all.
