    Any issues with .... ?

    Are there any known issues with the AMD Quad core processor A8-5500 Processor (64bit i believe) running on Microsoft® Windows® 8.1? I am thinking of switching my machine with this one but want to make sure I wont have UT problems.


    *** I currently am running Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4ghz wit h3gb ram on a 32 bit OS and an AMD Radeon HD 6670

    Not yet but I will, I tried to join the server just to see what it will run like with a new install and no tweaks but here's what I just got:

    Connection Failed
    Can't find Palette in file 'Palette Botpack.skins.palette263'

    Looks very familiar. You probably downloaded a bad UT setup or whatever or something. Delete whatever you have, and go here and follow the instruction.

    Then when you are done, test it and come back and let us know.

    I can join other servers just not UK, I will remove and reinstall that version though, will let you know what happens

    intel core !5
    procesor 3.1ghz
    64 bits
    1 tb hard disck
    8 gb ram

    (windows 8 es mejor para jugar unreal tournamente es ligero un inicio muy rápido de 10 segundos y puedes empesar a usar tu pc entrando a internet etc. cuando carga una nueva partida entra mas rapido y nunca hay fallos al re conectarte o navegar por internet,,,, windows 7 con estas mismas caracterÃsticas es obsoleto muy lento en comparación a windows 8 debo reconectarme 2 veces para entrar a la nueva partida tras cada cambio de mapa por que es lento y pesado)

    Well I don't plan on it. This is the first time I've used Win 7 and its basically the same. It seems so laggy but it seems like everything is running decent. I can't seem to hit anyone with sniper like I felt i could on my old computer. Not sure whats up.

    UT works better on older OS like Win XP as I heard. Newer games is for newer hardware/os. The OS is completely different than Win 2000 or whatever UT was made in so it'll be very odd on how the game work or whatever. ;P
