mine never crackles since i changed it to this

I connect the server all is ok
The map finish and the server switch after vote for CTF-Duku]X[ and just start to crackling sound and lag

Have you tried ace soundfix when in server?

@Higor I can't whitelist because its part of the definitions. Anth gave me the whitelist files but not to the server to distribute the definitions.

i had this problem before sound was cracking in open gl i switched to d3d same ive tryed all possibillity only succes was create new ini good luck

yesterday i have make a dual boot Win 8.1 and XP sp3
launch xp with the folder UT from win 8.1 and the game run fine.

So the problem comes from the environment win 8.1

not only windows 8 video drivers and audio drivers bug it did also on win 7 ^^
