    Gaming keyboards

    I'm thinking about getting a gaming keyboard, I want to get a mechanical one, this cheap one bugs the hell out of me(can only press 2 keys at once -_-).

    I just want to know if they are good for typing(i.e programming) as well, before I go get one, from your experience not an article.

    I'm not going to spend a stupid amount of money on one, but I don't want to get a low end one either. I've saved up about £200 in the last few months, but I do plan to buy some decent programming books as well, and another hard drive(~£60-80).

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Well, I only have 1, and my first, gaming keyboard which is a Logitech G510s... extremely big downside of this was I got a defected keyboard, contacted Logitech support like more than 3 times during my first 3 weeks with it & got nothing in return as they said they would send me another and I didn't get any!

    Very defected, as far for typing accuracy goes, can end up with a guaranteed fail to pass typing class. Most of the type, space bar is making double or no spaces.
    Framework no longer updated or anything so it does get hang up sometimes on the LCD Display (very nice to have, can see my fps awhile recording via fraps and other things) but the keyboard would still kinda work.

    Not very cheap, but it's obvious what I had to deal with for this... I'd go back to my old Dell Keyboard that came with my computer. Did I even notice the difference in the gameplay with these 2 keyboard? I don't think I did... except the added keys to mess around with and change volumn or music etc. & I thought I would have more buttons.. obviously, not really because the one on the side is basically using the other keys like F1, etc. Sucker!

    I should try more different keyboard. lol.

    I have a Tesoro Excalibur and enjoy it immensely so far. I've heard good things about Deck Ice, but I don't know if they're made anymore.

    yeah looks good but honestly if you're gonna spend 200£ on aoc just add 60£ more and buy a vg248qe its really worth it...
