    What's the name of the original map?
    I thought this was boob's original but I'm reading comments about "how he hacked it", "like the original", etc and I'm confused...

    This is how original nimbus shouldve been in the first place, closer base and dark sky. However the surroundings where there's absolutely nothing still seems to be big as fk which i dislike but oh well

    I changed the 'container' the blimpships float in. It used to be a circular brush. Circular brushes used in that way cause lag.

    I think the map maker thought it would help the skybox look more real with a circular brush, but it has no effect.

    I changed it to a square container. A HUGE square container! It takes about 90% of the total playing space ut99 offers. I wanted people to be able to fly high and far, kinda matching the skybox's look.

    It looks like an infinite beautiful sky so I made it bigger

    I havent forgotten this map.

    It seems the more interesting things I add, the more BSP problems occur.

    I installed a Poop Deck to the ships but building within the area makes UT go fuckin nuts....

    Workin on it...

    I completely removed the brushes you were talking about AND rebuilt. Same problem Cratering on the balloon tops.....

    This map is pissing me off... I think it is map-maker's intent lol



    But i WILL have my way with it sooner or later.

    The problem is the design of the balloons, just do this:

    Link every single poly's vertex.
    You have two shapes touching each other? Instead design them so they perfectly match.

    I can give you a brush file later (or maybe tomorrow) where the ropes don't overlap the balloons but instead link perfectly.
