Rockets Grouping

Forgive the newbie-like question, but I never knew how to "group" a few rockets together at a target. When I shoot four rockets, let's say, they always spread out on either side of a distant target across a horizontal plane (like planted corn rows).

Hold primary fire and then hold alt fire alongside it. Doesn't matter when you start holding alt fire, but it has to be after starting to hold primary fire.
