    Anyone heard of it or use it?

    Quick info - like irc and voice server in 1. Free stuff, which is cool.
    Connect to it via mobile is possible too.

    I just found out about Discord earlier today when I was looking around for a better IRC setup than what I have now, and after using it for a little while, I'm surprised I never heard about it. It's basically IRC++ and teamspeak built into one program that is free, easy to use, offers IP and DDoS protection, has free mobile apps you can set up to notify you when your name is mentioned, will have a in-game overlay soon (it's currently in beta, and it's something I've really been missing in pugs since overwolf for TS doesn't work with UT99), uses very little system resources, keeps your identity private etc etc.

    So now you're probably wondering "what's the catch? They've got to make money somehow?"
    They say on the website that they'll be charging for things like theme packs, sound packs etc in the future, but they'll never charge people to use Discord.

    Chammy and I were just talking about how this would probably be a great alternative to kik etc for people to organize pugs etc or just hang out and chat. You can access it from the web, Windows/Mac/Linux(soon) clients, and mobile devices.

    Check out this awesome built-in Discord overlay for talking, It's a very minimal and transparent one that barely disturbs you when playing.. so much better than the TS one.





    This is pure heaven, I'm deff downloading this for my phone.
