Im lost

Hi guys,

Ive been fiddling with settings for a while now and now my game is all messed up.
Would you recommend a fresh install? I have a 60hz monitor and the rest of my hardware is fine.

My aim os totally fucked up. Tried ticking direct input of/on, tried adjusting dpi and mousehertz but it sucks.

All suggestions welcome.

Try with Mark C accel fix if ur on win 7 or manually edit the registry for your mouse .Make sure you dont have enhanced mouse precision in your mouse settings ticked,try d3d9 set framerate to 120 and refresh rate to 0 or 60 it doesnt matter. Also dont get lost in trying other peoples inis, make your own settings and stick to it instead of constant changing.Keep in mind that your 60hz will not be able to keep up with players on 144hz.

Pointer precision is ticked off, slider on the 6th.

I Did the fix on win8, upped to win10, does the fix still apply?

If you really wanna start from fresh to be sure, download the demo + patch on. http://www.unrealkillers.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1

Then update to a choice of render you want: http://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/
(Note, using other Ini and render may screw up your current settings. This has happened to me twice from downloading other people's inis, carefully looked.)

These are very much the basic start before other start throwing on any add-on to the game. Then carefully make some changes, best to do it manually and all by yourself so you know what you are putting in, and not to be caught by unprepared excuse (uh my zombie added cheats) for just an example. & as always, make backup if the settings (.inis and perhaps and maybe .dlls (Win)/.so (Linux) for render change) is ok and want to improve it.

should, at least it was still applied when i switched from 8.1 to win10 using update
mouse dpi doesnt matter eventhough i would always go for native dpi, mousehertz doesnt matter too 500 or 1000 both is fine (most go with 1000 because why not)
there is no need for multicore fixes since ace
if vsync is off and highperftoggle is on there is not much left that can fuck up your game
try newest d3d9 and opengl renderer or even other players inis including renderer and see if it has an effect
actually im not sure what your problem is...mouse acceleration? mouse feels laggy? game not smooth?

I did a fresh install, game runs better, no more fps drops. Tnx for all the input ppl

Also removed setpoint so Just native mousesettings did the trick

I am downloading also a fresh copy, I updated to win10 and the game is broken. Microstuttering-stuttering and mouse is broken on some renders. Upgrading to win10 helped ut4 mouse input.

setpoint? your mouse not supported by logitech gaming software?

since u say it stanis, i remember having trouble with d3d8 renderer richt after upgrade to win10 so i switched to d3d9 which works fine
