    [WIP]Pugbot live

    Pugbot live, globalgamers #siege

    name: OoperBot

I've set up a linux box and I have my bot running, I will try and keep it running for the next 24 hours just to see how it goes, it's not finished yet but you should be able to get pugs going no problem.

I didn't want to keep you guys waiting any longer now that it's the weekend and you might get a few pugs going, so I put it online faster than I really want.

    Commands(not much yet):

    - ".list"
This displays the current list of games avaliable, it will display something like this "siege5[0/10] siege6[3/12]"

    - ".gametype" (example !siege5)
This displays the current list of players in the queue for the pug, as well as how many more people are needed for the pug to start.

    - ".join gametype" (example !join siege5)
This is the command to join games -_-, you can join as many as you want.

    - ".leave gametype" (example !leave siege5)
This is the command to leave a game.
Note: If you disconnect you will leave all games that you are queued in.

    - .captain
This command is only available in certain gametypes, when the pug has been filled you will have 30 seconds to pick captains before random ones are picked.

    - .pick userID (example !pick 4)
This command is for captains only, when the pug is filled and the captains are picked a list of remaining players is displayed with a number in front of them, you have to use the number to pick them.(I thought this would be easier then typing !pick us3rwithann0yingname)

    - .serverlist
Displays a list of ips that the bot has saved, as well as the commands for the server.

    - .commands
Displays a list of the most common commands.

    - .tutorial siege
Displays the links for the keybind guide and player guide for siege.

    - .rules siege
Displays a link to the siege pug rules.

    - .inis
Displays a link to my ini site.

    - .ip servername
Displays the server name and Ip. (example .ip siegepub)

    - .ip serverip (doesn't work on |Uk| servers yet)

    - .uptime (displays how long the bot has been online)

The bot has it's own account, if the bot works well I can add mod commands if needed.

I will continue to develop this bot, so bare with the lack of features for a little while, it will get more features.

Any bugs, or ways to improve just post here.

    TODO LIST:
    - Keep track of previous games.
    - Add !last command.
    - Add !stats username.

Wouldn't it be easier if I set you up a VM instead?

If it's not to much trouble then sure, I've never used a VM before though . Only thing needed is node.js.

I've updated the bot, it now keeps track of people changing their names.

If you're going to go through the trouble of writing a pugbot script then the least I could do is setup a KVM to host it. Why would you incur the cost? Our servers are all paid for and have capacity....so it doesn't cost anything more to host it.

Does it need a webserver or anything or just node.js?

Which distro are you comfortable with?

You don't have to have a webserver, you just need node.js and that's it.

The only Linux distro I've used so far is, Ubuntu.

The command I used to install it was this: ( info -> https://nodejs.org/en/download/package-manager/)
    Code:
    curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_6.x | sudo -E bash -
    sudo apt-get install -y nodejs
    - - - Updated - - -

    Updated bot:
Bot now removes players from other queues once a pug they are in fills.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Mini update:
Added it so people can type .command, because everyone seemed to be used to that, !command works as well still.

Currently working on .stats player, and saving all games data, update might be a little bit longer than other updates.

Bot is now running on the VM.

Fixed a bug that crashed the script if someone disconnected from IRC.

Pug bot updated to version 0.04:

    Updated:
    - Strings that the bot displays have changed colors, and no longer posts several times for certain features(most used stuff), it will now post one time per query, making the bot respond faster.
    New Commands:
    - ".commands": displays all the most common commands.
    - ".tutorial siege": displays links for both keybinds, and player guied tutorials.
    - ".rules siege": displays the link for siege pug rules.
    - ".inis": displays link for Unreal tournament inis. (shameless self promotion )
    - ".serverlist": displays a list of servers the bot has saved.
    - Server ips(this displays the server ip and name):
---- ".ip servername" (siegepug, siegepub, igus, iguk, combo, bt) Example: .ip siegepub

Next thing to come will be .last, .stats playername, I've felt like crap today and haven't done as much as I wanted to do.
