    High frequency monitors (120-144hz)

    I am looking to buy a new monitor (old one is a thriftstore 10$) and i think im going to go for a ASUS VG248QE 144hz thing.
    It seems like it would be great for ut as my computer easily draws 200+ frames on most maps and it's such a fast paced game.

    I have been told though that the PWM can cause headeaches and stuff and that the colours are not great, or maybe you can just tell me how awesome it is

    has anyone tried this and can share experiences?

    great, i type an entire post and then accidentally press "reply to thread" and it all goes lost (pretty unintuitive design @SAM )
    anyway, i know nobody cares but here is an update

    I found a good deal on a month old VG248QE and my impressions after one day are pretty great.
    Compared to my old 17" this one is so much faster, the size makes it easier to play (as opposed to my preconception that smaller screens were better for fast gaming having only played on small screens and tv's which are just poop).
    Havent tried the 3dthing as i dont give a shit about 3d.
    Dithering is mostly unnoticeable and the colours are not bad at all, I look forward to fragging woth this monitor for years.

    hi i have the same monitor as you, awesome monitor I had the samsung t190 (19inch monitor) which was also very good

    I assume you have the 24 inch version?

    actually playing like this made me think losah because i instantly get a big increase in acc, and even called a cheat today. dont ban me because of sudden skill increase plox
    honestly, its a lot easier, maybe its also because the screen is simple better and larger than my old.

    hi guys, and I been thinking, if it's worth changing my current LG Flatron 22 "monitor e2242 60hz input, on the other 100Hz to 120Hz?
    I have been commenting that significantly increases the sharpness of images in motion which would improve the sharpness of the game?

    There is a reason > 99% of top players use 120 - 144hz monitors.

    i shot the same acc with 60 hz as 144 dunno how ppl can get so much better :/
