I tried that Direct3D 11 and it was blah... D3D 9 seems to work flawlessly on this laptop, which does have 11 installed. hmmm.. maybe mine needs updated...

Kentie does point-out that the DX11 version is nothing more than a "proof of concept" test type thing.
The DX10 renderer is the one to use if you have Vista and up.

Mostly nothing uses DX10 functions, but there are a few mods that do.

Currently I am using the new Beta DX9, which works very well and fixes some annoying transparency issues, that were a pain for many mappers.

I concur, I too am using the 'beta' D3D 9 driver and have had flawless integration and very little hassle from it when I nudge it to make 'enhancements'

It shows standard video resolution for me after selecting d3d 10 , pls elaborate what you saying, m not getting much :s
